The process uses a heat activated tissue rather than messy glues or sprays.
The pressure is provided by a press. The pressure helps squeeze out the air from between the artwork, the adhesive tissue and the backing board.
The heat is the temperature that is used to activate the adhesive tissue, usually around 150 to 200 degrees for just a couple of minutes is enough to get a strong permanent bond.
There is no limit to the size of art that we can dry mount
Dry mounting prevent the art from waving and removes wrinkle we recommend the process for; prints, posters, diplomas, and certain types of photographs and fabrics.
We do not recommend dry mounting for; original art, signed prints, old photographs or anything that has a chance of increasing in value.
